Daz and Lira

It must have been the same lovely sun that welcomed us in Cebu on the 8^th of July’s morning which brought in good vibes for the next 3 days. The long drive to Amara Residences in Liloan, Mactan was well worth it as we found ourselves halted at a place embraced by the vast blue sea and teeming with bursts of green life. We arrived just in the nick of time for our client’s engagement luncheon, after which would follow an engagement shoot with the couple.

The tandem of Daz and Lira is truly a match made in heaven. It only happens once in a while that two people from both ends of the world meet to make a love story last. Capturing the couple’s sweet, candid moments on that afternoon convinced us that these guys will surely have it for keeps. With eyes for no one else but each other, both clearly knew what love and life truly meant.

Set out for a long day, we drove to the majestic and classy Imperial Palace for the preparations. Getting to know the groom, Daz, was like going up-close and personal with a football star. Meanwhile, we saw Lira as a lovely woman of depth and substance.  The ceremony was held at Shangri-la’s Mactan Resort. Undoubtedly, the couple was a lover of the sea.  The view from the kiosk was simply breathtaking, but would not compare to the love story we all witnessed before our very eyes on that afternoon.

The reception was as anyone’s dream wedding would be. It was held by the seaside pavilion in Imperial Palace, Mactan, with only 50 guests. The breezy beach air was filled with music, love, friends, and family – just about everything everyone would love about life!
