I had a great time shooting this wonderful family. They have 4 boys and i jokingly told the father, that they only need one more boy to have a basketball team. hehehe. Here are just some of the photos i took during family portrait session.
thanks again to the TANGGOL family for having me and to Aniqa Macarambon and Janissa Ibrahim for referring me to this happy family.

I was commissioned to take portrait shots of a friend’s friend. These photos were taken last July 31 and it was that week were in the city had a rainy weather. I was a bit worried when, before the shoot, the skies were getting thicker every minute and I was in a brink of cancelling the shoot. I am a photographer who really prefers available lights and was really opting for a sunset light. But lucky for me, there was only a little drizzle and the skies gave me a soft light.
my concept was to get lots of candid shots and free flowing movements as i was more accustomed to these kind of shots. It was also a big help when her friends were there to support her and were making her laugh. a natural smile and laughter is the best “emotions” shot.
we took around 4 hours to do the shoot, and aniqa was game enough to do whatever ideas i let her do.
i got lots of great shots but i guess this set would be enough…hhehehe..she’ll just have to enjoy the rest of it

photography workshop

Time has changed. Gone are the days when photographs are processed a week long just to have 30 great photos. Gone are the days when only a few selected people can have a camera and take photos. The day has come where anyone can hold a digital camera and take thousands of photos. Anyone can hold a pencil, but not anyone can draw. This goes the same with photography, everyone can take pictures, but not anyone can make a great image. But with ample knowledge through photography workshops and practice in photography, I can guarantee that someday, your photos will be highly praised.
And with modern technology, photography has evolved to a more interesting subject. Post processing hasn’t been this easy and exciting as before. Photo post processing and editing became a salad bowl of creativity. Knowledge of photo editing softwares has now been a need to learn.
So in this photography workshop, I’ll be sharing to you my workflow when I take photos during my photo shoots. The lesson plan includes:
1st day:
- Basic photography ( composition and elements discussion)
- How to use your DSLR camera in MANUAL MODE
- Camera settings in manual mode
- Lighting ( available lights indoor and outdoor tips & tricks )
- Color management
- Portraiture ( how to instruct/communicate with a model – my style )
- Fashion photography
- Landscape photography
- Instincts on taking photos ( when given a situation: what to do, what to think and what to look for to get a good shot )
2nd day:
- and PHOTO EDITING/ENHANCING ( using 3 photography editing/enhancing softwares ) the FRESH FUN FUNKY WAY! ( half to whole day session )
-
My photography workshop is by invitation only, may it be one on one or group photography workshop.
