MAHMUD and ARCY wedding photography Iligan City
Mahmud and Arcy were supposed to get married last March, and just as they were already at the airport in Dubai, a week before their wedding day, ready to fly here in the Philippines, some circumstances happened that forced them to miss their flights and pretty much postpone their wedding. And that means, they have to go through the process of postponing/cancelling all they have already booked for their wedding and also of contacting their invited guests of the postponement. But with rainstorms comes a rainbow. Some good news came into their lives and we were pretty much happy that what happened to them came with a good reason.

PYCO and AISA wedding photographer Cagayan de Oro City
April 30, 2011
As myriads around the world tuned in to their telly sets for the much-awaited wedding of Prince William of England and Kate Middleton, we, the Storytellers had too our own Royal Wedding to attend to.
Arriving very early at Xavier Estates Sports and Country Club, we were greeted by vibrant red and gold flags mounted on the pavements at the entrance gates. At this point, the rich air of gallantry and elegance of Muslim culture and tradition was already evident. These distinctly admirable attributes were even much more appreciated as we carried on to the ceremonies and wedding reception where highly-esteemed guests like Hon. Margarita “Tingting” Cojuangco (P-Noy’s aunt and former governor of Tarlac), our very own city Mayor Vicente Emano, and many other top-ranking government officials were present.
The ceremonies strongly upheld the grandeur of traditional Islamic wedding rituals which displayed the faithfulness, modesty, and unity of the two families. The imperial union of the two families was indeed worth capturing. The program was punctuated by festive group pictorials participated in by the newly-weds with their cherished relatives and friends.
Right after Atty. Aisah and Pyco’s wedding celebration; we headed out to our second wedding for that day. Surely, this wasn’t just an ordinary wedding day for the storytellers. It was a two-wedding craze!

VAL and AVRIL wedding photography Cagayan de Oro City
April 30, 2011 was a tad bit above busy for the Storytellers. With two weddings to cover in a row, we not only had to double time but as well our energy and efforts. Nevertheless, shooting couples brimming with love and joy on their wedding day is always a breath of fresh air. Val and Avril’s indisputable love and gladness threw all our tiredness at sea.
The slightly downcast weather just minutes before the garden ceremony almost dampened spirits, but prayers were answered and everything turned out lovely. The bride’s march down the aisle was like a scene pulled out from a romantic movie: the grateful bride splendidly dressed in white, a wide, alluring smile genuinely glued to her face. She exuded an almost tangible air of contentment and fulfillment as she walked on arm in arm with her proud parents. The groom, obviously enthralled by what he saw was approaching him, was fighting tears of unspeakable joy as he silently mouthed the words I love you to his wife-to-be. Shortly after, he succumbed to his tears and wiped them off, smiling.
The rest of the ceremony and reception was as ethereal but all the same as genuine as it commenced. The couple was expressively happy in the company of their dearest family and friends, and we felt love embrace the entire place. The team of Storytellers was only just too honored to immortalize such a wonderful and unforgettable event.

we’re pretty much loving this 2-wedding coverages in one day thing. 17 hours of running around the city can be so much fun………I guess. hehehe. As of the moment that I’m typing this and uploading this blog post, we’re actually getting ready and preparing our equipments because just a few hours from now at exactly 3am, we will start covering yet again 2 weddings in a row and finishing our day at around 10 in the evening. Okay now, stretching our muscles and cracking our knuckles.
