beautiful Flower arrangement, unfortunately, had to transfer inside a function room as it just rained cats and dogs later that night.

KRIS and DOTTIE wedding photography Cagayan de Oro City
Just another rainy event.

In life, challenge is inevitable. And OneHappyStory is aware of that.
On the day of their wedding, Kris and Dottie and the rest of the wedding dream team made sure that everything will go smoothly and according to plan. The first part went on just fine: OneHappyStory team was in-charge of the photography with special thanks to Aye Navarro for also assisting us for the shoot – thank you thank you!, Atoy Martinez and his video-graphy crew assured that priceless moments will be captured on tape, and Mrs. Bambi Fabian of Jazmin Events Planner and her team worked their magic on the preparation of the wedding. Sounds like everything is going to be smooth sailing… until something came up.
Mother Nature somehow played as the wicked stepmother who created a rain on Kris and Dottie’s parade, in the literal sense. While the ceremony was going on, rain poured down. And it wasn’t just any rain. It was more like a mini-thunderstorm that dropped too much water that it broke in at the sides of the church, causing people to move into the center. Not only that, a lightning struck just outside the church. And then the electricity went out just like that. Was it something to worry about?
For the couple, it was nothing. The ceremony went on like nothing happened. Us photographers and video-graphers we made lighters, flashlights, and laptops as our light source to get photos and footage. If anything, the picture went out really nice with only minimal light as our source.
And because of the rain, the supposed garden wedding reception got all soaked up. But with Mrs. Bambi Fabian’s work at hand, plan B was sorted out with ease. The reception was moved to an indoor function hall – albeit small but still the joyous atmosphere was felt by everyone.
And I would say kudos to the newlywed couple. Dottie, who was already giggling before the wedding itself, was unfazed – unembarrassed even – with all what’s going on around their binding with Kris. And it is true that you can never put a good man down, especially a man like Kris. They just wiped the mud off and continued with the show. And through them, all was successful!
To the very inspiring newlywed, congratulations and best wishes. The storm came in earlier but you faced it with no worries. Just goes to show that you guys are ready to battle any obstacles ahead. And we are glad that OneHappyStory was a part of the start of your wonderful journey together.
CONGRATULATIONS ONCE AGAIN.

NOI at 18 Debut Cagayan de Oro City
One thing Noi wanted for her debut party was to have a nice outdoor party. Everything was nicely planned and coordinated. The decors were beautifully arranged, delicious food served on the buffet table, everyone close to Noi were already there. All was perfect until rain came in. Yup, Mr. Rain paid a visit and I could see that Noi was getting worried already. 6PM, heavy downpour. 7PM (supposed to be the start of the program – still drizzling ). Noi was already adviced that the party will be moved to the ballroom. But Noi was faithful that the rain would stop sooner, nothing can stop her from having her dream debut party. In our part, it was still cool, we are always armed with plastic bags to cover our cameras when situations like this arise. I was thinking, “this gonna be one wet party”. And around 8PM, Noi’s prayers got answered. The rain stopped and everything just went into place. The guests were still there and enjoyed the night away. It was Noi’s dream party come true just an hour late.
