Does staying on a very cool, paradise island for a day or two doing things you like to do sound work for you? Well, that’s what we just did last week.

Samal is a small island off the coast of Davao City. It is blessed with white sand beaches, crystal clear waters, and abundant with world-class beaches. And in this island was where Lupe and Nana tied the knot of their marriage and love.

Lupe and Nana, both based in the busy city of Los Angeles, California ( hardcore Laker fans they are so you better not mistakenly speak of any Celtics related stuffs to them, hehehhe… ), decided to have their married life started in Nana’s home country, and they never went wrong.

We are happy to be a part of their very intimate ceremony (which went really really well- no, GREAT!), where there were only around 60 people invited to witness their once-in-a-lifetime occassion. And it was easy for me as the official photographer to capture timeless moments with them because they are easy to work with and very natural infront of the camera, doing funny faces, wacky gestures and all. Plus it’s good to know that other suppliers are Cagayan de Oro based as well, who were as excited as we are. Big credits to FLOWER MATTERS for the Flowers and Event styling, BADZ CASTRO for the coordination and MVP digital video, we always love working with them. And did I forget to mention that both of them are real lookers? Well, you can actually look at the pictures and see for yourself

Like we have said before, we are willing to go anywhere you are just to take your photos. Even though Samal Island – or even Davao City – is far away from reality which is Cagayan de Oro, that wouldn’t stop us from travelling for something worthwhile.. like this wedding of two real cool people. Paradise was just a bonus!

Yes! We are bringing back the glory days of shooting in FILM! This offer is still in introductory stage but yup, future clients, depending on the availability of films will have the pleasure of not only getting photos coming from Digital Cameras but also from Our Film cameras and it’s for free……yet..hehehe..So expect us to post not only those  digital photos but also we will also squeeze in photos in film….We are on a FILM HIGH!

This is part 1 of 3 posts that I will be sharing to you, happy people, of this wonderful couple we have covered in Blue Waters Resort, Samal Island, Davao City. One thing about destination weddings is that, it is always a photographers’ delight to be in a new place and take pictures. For now, I shall write just a small description of the wedding. I shall write more in the upcoming parts but for now, please enjoy this first set containing photos taken using a FILM CAMERA. Yup! I am bringing back the glory days of film photography. I’ll be photographing future clients using digital and film ( depending on the availability of films. ) hehehehe…

The wedding, as what my co-documentor that day ( MVP digital videography ) for the wedding video, described it as PERFECT and I totally agree. Everything went smoothly from the engagement shoot until the end of the reception. All left the place from the couple to the guests and to the suppliers with smiles.
