OHS’ Razzle Dazzle photography workshop
This is our third and last workshop to conduct and to make it a nice run; we’ve decided to make it a photography workshop Trifecta! This is RAZZLE DAZZLE THREE, and we’re not going to end our photography workshop series without leaving a bang. This workshop we’re going to pack with tons of freebies and knowledge.
We’ve always get this question how we get this kind of shots that One Happy Story is known for. Capturing those unguarded moments, creating this stories through photographs and heartwarming pictures that leaves you wanting to have your own too.

Through out time, having been on the professional photography circuit for around 4 years already, we have learned a lot through experience. And this learning we’ve bundled up to share in this workshop.
There are already a lot of camera enthusiasts doing photography as a business, now one thing that we are also going to share is how for you to set your OWN signature style to stand out from the rest. OHS primary strategy was always stick to our style and photo enhancement. We’ve always wanted our photos to have that soul that makes you smile and reminisce. We’re going to share our tips on getting these kinds of shots. We will also be sharing our post processing workflow in which you can set as your foundation to build your own workflow.

 

 

Here are primarily the topics and discussions we’re going to share:

Camera settings (knowing those buttons and its functions)

Photography composition
- Factors that makes a photo a standout.
- How to communicate with your subject
- Best mindset and attitude during shoot
How to capture natural and candid smiles
Post processing workflow (establishing your own enhancing colors)
How to use available lights
And lastly, we are going to give photography kits ( tons of plug-ins for your softwares ) this plug-ins are
The ones used by professionals. We guarantee you’ll love these freebies.
First day will be discussions and photography exercises then on the second day, we’ll be teaching how to use the photography softwares and plug-ins.

This will be our third time to visit General Santos City and its equally nice surrounding destinations. We have always been excited to be able to go there and one thing in our list to do there is to binge on sea foods. Don and Lai were so hospitable that they really made it a point that we got our cravings satisfied. It was like we were there to eat and not to cover their wedding hehehe. Lai was a former classmate of mine in Ateneo de Davao and luckily she saw our work on one of our batch mates in ADDU whom we covered in Davao two years ago ( view our batchmate’s photos here).

Talking about coincidence and luck, it was also in this manner how Lai met her forever. She was already working in Davao City when another job opening opened up to work for DOLE, which is located at Polomolok, South Cotabato, which is a good 3 hours away from where she grew up. And this is where it all started. Well, I cannot tell you the whole story but it will be much better if they will be the one to share it to you. For a glimpse of their own version of their happification visit them at:

When Mera told me that she will be having her preparations in her home in Valencia City and Edward will be having his in Malaybalay City we immediately knew that this will be one of those weddings that surely will be one for the books. Their set-up really defined what the tradition “the groom should not see his bride before the ceremony” is. Valencia City is an hour away from Malaybalay City and then the ceremony will be in Monastery Transfiguration which is more of in between these cities. So as we were travelling going to the preparation areas, we were setting up our game plan.

It was only that day that we met Edward and Mera and even though we were not able to have a personal meeting prior that wedding, we were welcomed with much warmth only a close family guest could have.  Suman and hot choco was already waiting when we arrived. And even though it was a tiring day with pretty much a huge part of it spent on travelling, we were still able to get lots of nice shots. Edward and Mera are photography enthusiasts and the usual conversation of “Where did you meet?” or “How did he proposed?” was replaced with “What is the best lens for this and that?” or “What is your camera system?” while we were having our pictorials.  They just enjoyed the pictorials that really made it easy for us.
