i really love to shoot using available lights…the description of photography which is “painting with light” really explains this…when taking photos using available lights, a photographer has to take in to considerations time, angling, positioning of the subject, the light and framing.
i have a D40 camera ( my very overused camera ) and i could only reach up to iso800…good for me as i have a battery grip to stabilize the weight of my camera because D40 camera is a small DSLR camera and very lightweight, and normally it is already hard to use shutter speeds lower than 30. I always use the Manual mode as i like to have that control in achieving what i like to capture. I usually prefer capturing underexposed images. i really love to have shadows in my photos as it creates mood and drama to a photograph.
during this shoot, i was happy as my ideas and concepts and also from Dustein’s for the poses and setting was nicely interpreted by natasha. as always, Natasha hits the home run..:)
