When we had our pictorial with Claire, she was very easy to work as she was very cooperative to the ideas I tell her. She was also accompanied by her nice and supportive mother and sisters who also made her comfortable during the shoot as Claire told me it was her first time to do this kind of pictorial. She was a natural infront of the camera. When I was taking pictures of Claire, she reminds me of Claire Danes plus Taylor Swift combined, and I can just feel that Claire is a talent just waiting to be discovered by model headhunters.

Anyway, we had fun covering her debut. To Claire, wish I got your autograph because I could sense that you’ll be big someday. So if you’ll find below after your pictures, I also posted pictures of us with you so if you’ll be famous someday, I’ll have this blog to show-off as evidence that we are friends. hahahaha!

This has got to be the most intimate debut coverage we have attended to. Not that it is better than the other debut celebration we have covered, it is just a simple celebration attended by Marianne’s childhood friends and her very cool relatives. Due to very busy schedule, me, Cocong and Gary were the only ones who were able to cover this special celebration and I could say, it felt like we were not actually doing our work but were more like one of the guests of the party. Maybe because the celebration was held in their house that it has this homey ambience. It was heart-warming and nice to talk and laugh with her very happy and fun loving mamala and papala ( that’s how they call their lolo and lola, very cool how it sounds. ). To Marianne, happy 18th birthday and in behalf of OneHappyStory, we promise that we will cover your wedding day ( in the future ) for free! Yes! It’s free, as long as it will be held in Las Vegas! hahahaha! We had a great time with you, mamala and papala. We would also like to thank Marianne’s mom and dad for trusting us. yahoo!

Photo shooting outdoors these days has been very difficult lately as we just got hit by monsoon “Juan”. My shoot with Marianne was no exception.  Her mother, who is still in the States, wanted very good pictures for her daughter’s debut. Frequent emails from her about her ideas on the planned pre-debut shoot then followed. Our idea of having a warm afternoon shoot did not go as planned because when the pre-debut shoot came, “Juan” was also tagging along with us. But we didn’t stopped from getting nice portraits of Marianne. Jeri Udasco’s nice make-up job on Marianne can’t be left unphotographed.  So, with great faith, we still trudged amidst heavy rains to Opol beach as we can’t think of any other place that we can have a small chance of having a better weather than along the city proper which was already getting beaten up by the heavy rains. Eventually, the weather turned positive toward us as the rain became very light and we can finally have some fun shots along the shoreline. We had fun working with Marianne as she was friendly and was also having fun being with us. This is part one of two of getting to know Marianne…:)
