This is a personal post of mine giving tribute to one of our cameras. We are currently using Canon camera systems but our Nikon has really been our go to camera. Nikon D40, photography forums say, is a beginner’s class camera. I have never conformed to this idea of categorizing cameras like beginner’s, semi professional and professional. Cameras are merely a tool, and it all boils down to the camera’s user. I am a professional photographer who does wedding and portraiture, and the Nikon D40 has never let me down especially when I take those details shots and portrait shots. The color it produces are crisp with just putting your setting in to Auto mode. Less hassle, simple and very efficient camera I could say.

And so for my 4 years of being a professional photographer, my Nikon D40 has been my main camera and for it to finally give its final shot, I bid farewell to my beloved camera. Hopefully I will still be looking for a Nikon D40 replacement, but I will share to you the image of my camera that really paved the way to what One Happy Story has now reached. This is my first DSLR by the way.
