During our pictorial, heavy rains pour down on us. Our ideas for the pictorial also went along with the rain water and we had to immediately decide on plan B. So we decided to go to Chali Beach Resort and try to work out some indoor shots. But as we arrived in Chali, the rain stopped and God gave me this soft lighting which you always get after a rain. I smiled and whispered to the heavens above; “Lord, You often change my plans and ideas for a shoot, but from all the shoots that I had, it always turns out very good, You always surprise me!” Even though we only had a short time to do the shoot, still we had a blast and ended up having very nice cool shots. yeah! Rakenrol! This is Noy’s predebut shoot.

This is our second installment of Kris and Dottie’s engagement shoot. During our first engagement pictorial (view part 1 here ), we had difficulty in doing the photoshoot as it was raining hard that day and our plans of having an outdoor shoot was cancelled. So I decided that if the couple is ok with it, we do another pictorial session. Thanks to the Lord above, He gave us a very nice weather for our 2nd pictorial. The shoot went well and even though we had some minor setbacks (the car we were riding got stucked on some mud puddle and some more unfortunate events like stepping on some you-know-what hehehe ) still we had a blast and I commend the couple for being so funky! woohooo!!! Stay tuned for their wedding photos coming September.

9 long hours was the time we spent for the trip on our way from Cagayan de Oro to Davao. Nothing normal since it takes only 6 to 7 hours on an ordinary day. But because there were some road maintenance going on, 2 extra hours were added to the grueling trip.

But really, 9 hours was not even close for the time Dingdong, the groom of this happy story, to court on Odyssa, before they tied the knot. Great things come to those who wait, it is true.

They first met during the elementary years, long before they knew what love is all about. When they grew up, Dingdong courted Odyssa but she refused. But that did not stop him from pursuing, until she finally gave in and now, they are binded as one.

The wedding and reception were held at the Luzon Ballroom of Grand Regal Hotel, a very nice place. The bride, as well as the groom, was really cooperative in striking some poses. The suite room of the hotel is really immense enough you could think of many things to do there for a photoshoot, not to mention we had a very great view of the mighty Mount Apo, Davao’s well-known landmark. The wedding went on very smoothly, and we were able to get good shots because of the amazing workforce of the coordinator.

So if you are going to ask us if we would be willing to spend another nine hours of our lives just to get good pictures, we’d say “add nine more”. Not only that, we would be willing to travel to all four corners of the Earth just to take your pictures. Planet Mars, too.
